Nepal Bar Association Initiates National Seminar in Sauraha

Chitwan: The Nepal Bar Association (NBA) commenced its national seminar on human rights and the 49th central executive council meeting in Sauraha today.
The inauguration of the seminar was graced by Supreme Court Justice Ananda Mohan Bhattarai. With over 1,000 legal professionals from across the country in attendance, the two-day seminar will feature discussions on various topics, including the human rights situation and the ongoing conflict in West Asia.
NBA President Gopal Krishna Ghimire highlighted the association's concerns about the status of Nepalis in Israel, especially in light of recent incidents where ten Nepali students lost their lives. Ghimire expressed worry about the situation in Israel and emphasized the need for attention to the matter.
Additionally, the NBA plans to address the captivity of Nepali student Bipin Joshi by Hamas, with efforts aimed at advocating for his release during the seminar.
